Packages that have been mistakenly finished in Canix can be Reactivated. For non-Metrc facilities, this can be done from directly in the Canix Web Application. For Metrc facilities, this can be done in Metrc. Review the steps in this article to learn how to restore accidentally finished or deactivated packages, such as when non-Metrc facilities may have accidentally finished packages without first adjusting to 0.
In this article, we'll cover:
To finish/deactivate Packages, see Finish Packages.
Reactivate Finished Packages
On the Web Application:
Non-Metrc Facilities
- Navigate to Inventory > Packages > View: Finished
- Select the Packages you wish to reactivate; this can also be done in bulk
- We suggest using Filters to narrow your search; for example, if you only wish to restore packages that were deactivated with more than 0 quantity remaining, use the Quantity column's filter to select "Does not equal" and "0" and click Apply so that you are only viewing Finished packages with more than 0
- After selecting which Packages to restore, select Actions > Reactivate Packages
- From the new window, confirm the correct Package(s) have been selected
- Select Reactivate
- Select Submit
For Metrc Facilities
To revert Finish Package submissions, this must be done directly in Metrc.
- Log into Metrc
- From the top menu, navigate to Packages
- Select the tab Inactive
- Select the Package to be Unfinished by clicking on it
- To Unfinish multiple Packages at once, hold shift when selecting the additional Packages
- In the new window, confirm the correct Package(s) have been selected
- Select Unfinish Packages
- Return to Canix and Refresh Metrc Data to show these changes in Canix immediately
View Reactivated Packages
On the Web Application:
- Navigate to Inventory > Packages > View: Active
