Overview: Why We Use This Feature
Inventory Details, Activity History & Traceability work together to give you a comprehensive understanding of your inventory. No matter the challenge, you have the data that you need. Use this data to work through issues like the following:
-
Investigating quantity discrepancies
- Sometimes a team member may make a mistake, activity history shows who worked on and edited the package and what specific actions they took.
-
Understanding COGS data
- Cost details and activity history show exactly when and how COGS were associated with a given package.
-
Executing recalls
- In the case of a recall, Package Activity History, and the Traceability report help show all of the packages associated to a given end product.
-
Producing clear data for auditors
- Auditors may request detail about how certain products were processed, activity history provides a log of all touches on that inventory.
-
Auditing your workflows
- Are the correct production steps being logged with complete data in Canix? See exactly how a product was made with Details, History and Traceability to find out.
With all key actions recorded for cannabis inventory you’ll be able to quickly understand the history of your inventory, correct data entry mistakes and produce auditable data when required.

System Impacts & Dependencies
NA - Details, Activity History and Traceability show changes made throughout the entire product elsewhere. Edits/updates are not made from these features.
