Oftentimes, multiple people may be working on a Sales Order at one time. This may end up preventing a Transfer from being created to complete the sale. Canix now has a feature that allows users to associate an existing Transfer to a Sales Order.
Note: There is not an option to un-assign or un-associate a Transfer once it has been assigned to a Sales Order. Once it has been assigned, you can only delete the Transfer.
In this article, we'll cover:
- Associating an Existing Transfer to a Sales Order
- Deleting an Associated Transfer (Metrc)
- Deleting an Associated Transfer (Non-Metrc)
Associating an Existing Transfer to a Sales Order
From the Canix Web Application:
- Navigate to: Sales > Sales Orders
- You can select an existing Sales Order (that does not have an associated Transfer) or Create a New Sales Order
- Once the Sales Order is complete, Navigate to the Transfer section and Select: Assign Transfer > Select Existing Transfer
- Begin typing to search for an existing Transfer and select it directly from the drop-down list
- After selecting the Transfer, you will now be able to view the Associated Transfer by clicking View Transfer
- Note: Non-Metrc customers will also be able to Edit Transfer details from this screen
Deleting an Associated Transfer (Metrc)
Deleting an Associated Transfer directly from the Sales Order is only available for Metrc customers.
From the Canix Web Application:
- Navigate to: Sales > Sales Orders
- Select the Sales Order
- Scroll down to the Transfer section of the Sales Order
- Select Delete
- Confirm you want to Delete the Transfer Template by selecting Delete Transfer. (Note: This will not just un-associate the Transfer, by selecting Delete this will delete the Transfer and all associated packages will return to Active).
Deleting an Associated Transfer (Non-Metrc)
Non-Metrc customers cannot delete an Associated Transfer directly from the Sales Order but can do so from the Outgoing Transfer itself.
From the Canix Web Application:
- Navigate to: Sales > Outgoing Transfers
- Check the box next to the Transfer you wish to delete
- In the top-right corner, click Cancel Transfer
- Click OK to confirm
