Outgoing Transfers in BioTrack FL must go through 3 steps before the transfer is active - Create Invoice, Create Manifest from the Invoice, Use the Manifest to start the Outgoing Transfer. Canix combines these into 1 step to speed up user processes. In order to satisfy all 3 required steps, transfers can only be created from sales orders, although prices can be $0 when needed.
Only transfers that are delivered by the sending license can be created in Canix currently. If needing to create a transfer where the customer or a 3rd party picks up the order, contact support at help@canix.com.
Only transfers that are going to 1 destination can be created currently. If needing to create a transfer that is delivered to multiple stops in the same transfer, contact support at help@canix.com.
Follow these steps to create an outgoing transfer in Canix:
- Navigate to a sales order with packages allocated on the order
- Select Assign Transfer > Create Transfer at the bottom of the order
- Fill in the required details for the outgoing transfer
- Transfer Name - This will prefill from the sales order with the customer name & date
- Destination Facility - Select the destination location license number, or create a new destination using the destination facility's location license number
- Departure Time - Prefilled with the current date and time. Select a new date and time to create a future transfer
- Arrival Time - Prefilled with a date and time 4 hours from now. Select a new date and time to specify a different arrival time
- Driver - Select or create a new driver
- 2nd Driver - Select or create a 2nd driver
- Vehicle - Select or create a new vehicle for transport
- Route - Specify a new route or select the route icon to change starting or ending addresses
- Confirm all details are correct and select Submit to create the required invoice, manifest and transfer in BioTrack
Warning: Invoices and Transfers must always match. Therefore, no changes can be made to a sales order after a transfer is created. A transfer must be voided, and recreated from the updated sales order currently to update the transfer to match the new sales order.
Once submitted, an error message will appear on this page if any errors are received from BioTrack. Additional information and submissions can be found in Admin > Submissions table with a success or failed status, and errors from BioTrack.
Download Manifest
Manifests can be downloaded from Canix by following the steps below:
- Navigate to Sales > Outgoing Transfers
- Select the outgoing transfer name to download the manifest for
- Select Manifest Actions > Download Manifest
Mark Transfer as Arrived
Transfer stops must be marked arrived for the incoming transfer to be available in the receiving customer's license. Transfers can be marked arrived from the sales order, or the outgoing transfer table.
Follow these steps to mark the stop arrived from the outgoing transfer table:
- Select the outgoing transfer name
- Select Mark as Arrived button at the top of the transfer modal
If submitted correctly, the transfer modal will display an Arrived status, as well as in the outgoing transfer table.
Follow these steps to mark the stop arrived from the sales order:
- Select Transfer Actions at the bottom of the sales order
- Select Mark as Arrived
If submitted correctly, the sales order action will be disabled and a success message will appear at the top of the page.
