In Canix, users can manage and destroy packages in BioTrack Florida facilities by following specific actions from the Scheduled for Destruction view in the Packages table. Requirements for Destroying Packages
Before you can destroy a package in BioTrack for Florida facilities, it must meet the following criteria:
- Scheduled for Destruction: Packages must be scheduled for destruction for at least 72 hours before they can be destroyed.
- Time Remaining: Packages are only eligible for destruction if they have 0 hours remaining in the “Scheduled for Destruction” column.
- Destruction Reason: Users must have provided a reason for destruction, which will be displayed in the Destruction Reason and Destruction Notes columns.
Default View: Scheduled for Destruction
The Scheduled for Destruction view in Canix displays packages that are active and have been scheduled for destruction. This helps track the 72-hour countdown before packages can be destroyed. The following key details are displayed in the view:
- Scheduled for Destruction Time: Shows the time remaining until the package is eligible for destruction. Time is rounded up to the nearest hour, with a minimum display of 1 hour.
- Example: If a package has 1 hour and 5 minutes left, it will show 2 hours remaining.
- Ready for Destruction: Once the 72-hour period has passed, this status will be displayed in red, indicating the package is ready for destruction.
- Destruction Reason & Notes: These fields display user-input details related to the reason for destruction and any additional notes.
