An ingredient in BioTrack Florida includes any substance added to inventory after extraction. These are tracked as non-cannabis inventory (NCI) in Canix and are applied to packages through the following methods:
- Bills of Materials (BOMs) automatically deducted during Split and Combine package actions
- Ad hoc application of NCI from the Packages > Active view

Apply Non-Cannabis Inventory to Packages
Follow these steps to apply non-cannabis inventory to packages from the Packages > Active view:
- Navigate to Inventory > Packages > Active view
- Select 1+ rows or filter for packages to apply non-cannabis inventory to in bulk
- Select Actions > Assign Non-Cannabis Inventory
- Select the NCI lots to apply to the selected packages
- Enter the total quantity to apply to all packages
Note - this quantity will apply to the packages proportionally based on the current package quantity - Select the date to apply the inventory
- Select + Add Product to select additional lots to apply to the package inventory
- Select Submit to deduct NCI quantities and apply the quantities and cost proportionally to the packages
Submit Ingredients to BioTrack Florida
Once non-cannabis inventory has been applied to packages, follow these steps to submit ingredients to BioTrack.
- Navigate to Inventory > Non-Cannabis Inventory > Usage Report
- Select the rows for ingredients to be sent to BioTrack
Tips to make this easier:- Filter by Applied to Inventory = Packages
- Filter BioTrack Ingredient = False to see only inventory that hasn't been submitted to BioTrack yet
- Select Actions > Create BioTrack Ingredient
- Select confirm on the modal that appears to submit to BioTrack
If submitted successfully, you'll see a green checkmark appear in the Usage Report under the column BioTrack Ingredient. You'll find this submission in the Admin > Submissions table.
