Canix allows you to easily change the Location of Plants or Plant Batches, individually or in bulk. This can be done with or without changing the growth phase. The steps are identical for Metrc, BioTrack and Non-Metrc facilities, but the verbiage may be different depending on the type of facility you are in.

Plant Batches

Note: The plant batch must contain at least one immature plant.

1. Navigate to: Plants > Plant Batches 
2. Select one or more Plant Batches that need to be relocated
3. Navigate to Actions > Change Location 
4. Enter a New Location and Date
5. Need to remove a Plant Batch from the list?
   • Simply select the Red X next to the Plant Batch you need to remove. 
6. Select Submit 

7. A confirmation window will appear: Confirm Location Change? Select Submit
   Note: Metrc Facilities will receive a notification: "Submitting location change of # plant batches to Metrc". Non-Metrc Facilities will receive a notification: "The location has been changed for # plant batches" 

• Select a Plant Batch > Then select, View Location History - Alternatively you can navigate to: https://app.canix.com/submissions/history to view all Plant Batch Location Changes.

Plants

This process is the same for all active plants and includes Tracked Vegetative, Flowering Plants,  Tracked Mother Plants and Current Plants. Note: Location can also be updated when changing growth phases. 

1. Navigate to: Plants > Plant > View: Vegetative Tracked/Tracked Flowering/Tracked Mother Plants/Current
   
2. Select one or more Plants

3. Navigate to Actions > Change Location 
4. Enter a New Location 
   • Need to remove a Plant from the list?
     • Simply select the Red X next to the Plant you need to remove. 
   • Date may be a required field depending on your states compliance standards. 
5. Select Submit 

6. A confirmation window will appear: Confirm Location Change? Select Submit
   Note: Metrc Facilities will receive a notification: "Submitting location changed for # plant(s) to Metrc". Non-Metrc Facilities will receive a notification: "The location has been changed for # plant(s)".
