The designated account manager will be able to order the package and plant tags electronically in Metrc by selecting the Tag Orders option from the Admin menu in the top navigation bar.
If you have more than one license, you will need to order the tags under each license, as each tag will be tied to each specific license. No additional payment is required for the tags, as the cost is included in the license fee.
When tags are physically received, mark the tag order as Received in Metrc. Tags must be documented as “received” in Metrc before they can be assigned to a product. No product can be entered before receiving the tags from Metrc.
