Plant additives must be submitted to BioTrack with a description of the additive applied to the plant(s). This description must include
-
- the active ingredient within the additive
- the concentration at which the additive was applied
- the manufacturer’s lot number for the additive
- the EPA registration number, where applicable/available
Additives are non-cannabis inventory (NCI) in Canix. Canix submits the product name and lot number to BioTrack so the required information above must be in a combination of those 2 places to comply with Florida regulations.
The following steps will cover how to apply additives to plant inventory once created as NCI Products and Lots. Follow these steps to create NCI products.
Apply Additives to Plants
- Navigate to the active plants table in Plants > Plants > Active view
- Filter for the set of plants to apply to, for example by location or strain, or select the plant rows to apply to
- Select Actions > Apply Non-Cannabis Inventory
- Select the NCI lots to apply to the plants listed at the bottom of the Deduct Non-Cannabis Inventory page
- Enter the total quantity to apply across all plants. This quantity will be applied evenly across all plants. For example, if applying 10 liters of fertilizer to a group of 100 plants, each plant will receive 0.1 liters (100 ml). The cost will also apply automatically based on the selected lot
- If there's not enough quantity to apply from the selected lot, select + Add Product Lot to select another lot for the remaining quantity
- To apply additional additives to the plants, select + Add Product Lot to enter the total quantity of that product applied.
-
To submit the selected products as additives to BioTrack, select the Submit Additives to BioTrack checkbox above the NCI products selected
Keeping this option deselected will apply the NCI to plants in Canix only and not apply them to BioTrack. - Select Submit to apply the NCI to the plants in Canix, and to submit to BioTrack if the Submit Additives to BioTrack option is selected.
