Introduction
Canix has set up a Purchase Order AI agent that allows users to create Purchase Orders directly from their email.
Why?
Our goal with this is two-fold:
- Make it effortless to create Canix Purchase Orders, directly from emails. Save time on data entry.
- Facilitate historical uploading of Purchase Orders
What kinds of files can you send?
- Raw notes
- CSV Upload
- Plain-text
- Screenshots
- Metrc Manifests
- Canix Sales Orders
How It Works (Create Purchase Orders)
- Email “purchase.ai@canix.com” with a csv, plain-text notes, or screenshots of the purchase order that you want to create
- You can even create multiple purchase orders from one CSV to this email!
- The email will either respond with questions, a confirmation that it’s been created, or a failure notification
Convert Incoming Metrc Manifests to Purchase Orders
We heard your request to convert Metrc Incoming manifests to purchase orders. Now, you can send incoming Metrc Manifests to purchases.ai@canix.com, and the agent will create purchase orders from your manifest.
Convert Sales Orders / Invoices to Purchase Orders
Sometimes, you may receive a Sales Order from another Company that you would like to turn into a Purchase Order for your company.
The Purchase Order agent now offers you a quick way to do this. Just send the invoice or sales order that you would like to turn into a purchase order, and the agent will create a Purchase Order in Canix from this.
The example below is a Canix Invoice, but this should work for invoices from all systems.
What to Expect / Tips for Usage
- The agent will take a few minutes to respond. It's not instantaneous - yet!
- This is an alpha, so some hiccups are expected. Email help@canix.com if you run into any issues.
- The email you will be emailing is purchase.ai@canix.com

Unauthorized Access
- If an unauthorized user emails, the agent will respond with - this is not authorized.
