Sales Order AI Agent (Alpha)

Introduction

Canix has set up a Sales Order Agent that allows users to create sales orders and query inventory directly from their inventory, with our email.

 

Why?

Salespeople should be spending most of their time building relationships not entering orders. Salespeople typically work in email, texts, in-person. They need a way to create sales orders, on the fly. 

A primary goal of this endeavor is to allow salespeople to create orders directly from their email, from: 

  • CSV Upload
  • Plain-text 
  • Screenshots

We’ve heard that it’s slow to create a sales order in Canix → we hear you! Our goal is to leapfrog the UI and make it as fast as possible create a sales order in Canix. 

Additionally, the sales agent allows salespeople to to query inventory directly from their email. Things move fast, and inventory changes quickly. Salespeople need a way to see their inventory, as fast as possible, directly in their workflow. 

Canix has developed an alpha version of this sales order agent to provide this.

 

How It Works (Create Sales Orders)

  1. Email “sales.ai@canix.com” with a csv, plain-text notes, or screenshots of the sales order that you want to create
    1. You can even create multiple sales orders from one CSV to this email!
  2. The email will either respond with questions, a confirmation that it’s been created, or a failure notification

 

 

 

 

How It Works (Inventory Availability)

  1. Email “sales.ai@canix.com” with either a request to see all live inventory, or a request for the availability of a specific piece of inventory
  2. The agent will respond back over email with the Inventory available in your account.

Multi-Location Sales Orders from CSV 

The sales order agent can even create Multi-Location Orders from a CSV. 

You can send a spreadsheet, like the below: 

 

The agent will respond with multiple orders created from multiple facilities in Canix. This is one of, if not the most, time consuming aspects of sales. Now, handled with the forward of an email. 

 

 

 

What to Expect / Tips for Usage 

Overall

  • The agent will take a few minutes to respond. It's not instantaneous -  yet! 
  • This is an alpha, so some hiccups are expected. Email Stacey if you run into any issues. 
  • The email you will be emailing is sales.ai@canix.com. 

 

Sales Orders 

  • Multiple Location Sales Order Creation
    • Create multiple sales orders from a CSV doc! Directly forward the order that you receive from a dispensary group, even if it's being fulfilled from multiple locations. Our agent will handle the rest. 
  • Pricing 
    • Due to how pricing is set in Canix, if there is an active price for the item, that active price will be set from Canix, not from the email 
    • You do not need prices to create sales orders. 
  • Unauthorized Access 
    • If an unauthorized user emails for either sales or inventory, this is the email it will receive 

 

  • Great Example of A Prompt
    • The clearer you make your prompt, the faster and better the agent will respond. Below is a great example of a prompt. 
      • Facility: [store name in Canix]
      • Delivery Date: [targeted date mm/dd/yyyy]
      • Sales Rep: [your name]
      • Please include prices for all line items utilizing existing prices in Canix and only include items that have Unordered inventory available. Let me know if any item lacks Unordered inventory. 
      • Case size is 25 for everything, except for badder and tinctures which are 10. Please ensure the unit is Each.
      • Order is below/ attached: "

 

 

Inventory Availability

  • The biggest cause of slowness is the agent needing to compile a large list of inventory availability. 
  • To make the agent faster, mark the items that you’re selling as “Finished Goods." Instructions are how to do that are here. In your email, include that you are only looking for Finished Goods Availability.
