After a package has been depleted (i.e., the weight is 0), you can "finish" the Package to remove it from your active inventory in Canix. Metrc facilities require that the Package quantity is 0 before finishing a Package; non-Metrc facilities can finish a Package with a quantity that is not 0, but we still recommend adjusting your Packages to 0 before finishing. The process is the same for both Metrc and non-Metrc facilities, but some steps or language may vary.
Note: Metrc facilities will see Metrc’s terminology for “Finish” Packages and non-Metrc facilities will Canix terminology for “Deactivate” Packages.
To adjust a Package's Quantity down to 0 before finishing/deactivating it, see Adjust Packages.
To reactivate a Finished Package, see Reactivate Finished Packages.
