How to Resolve an "Err 8.1" Reading
If your Ohaus scale is reading "ERR 8.1", "ERR 8.2" or "ERR 8.4", this may be an issue with "Capacity" being set to 0 or with incorrect units. Try these steps:
Go to Main Menu > Setup
Go to Capacity Unit
Set the Capacity Unit to pounds
Go to Capacity and Graduation and set this to 500
Set Power On Zero to OFF
Go back to the home menu
Press the wrench icon in the lower left-hand corner of the screen, and set
Exit the menu, and the error should be gone
How to Resolve Scale Not Reading or Registering Weights
If your Ohaus scale is not reading or registering weights, this is unrelated to Bluetooth or Canix connectivity and may be an issue with "Data Transfer" being set to ON. Try these steps:
- Go to Main Menu > Print
Go to Data Transfer
- Set Data Transfer to OFF
Press the NO button until you see END
- Press YES to end
- Press EXIT to go back to the home menu
Exit the menu
