Overview
The Expected Outputs tab in the Production module helps you consolidate and track planned outputs for future manufacturing runs. This feature ensures better visibility, planning, and efficiency by providing a centralized view of all estimated outputs from unsubmitted runs.
This guide will walk you through how to access, filter, and make the most of the Expected Outputs tab, as well as how to download and analyze the data.
Accessing the Expected Outputs Tab

Navigate to the Manufacturing Module:

Log into your Canix account.

Click on the Manufacturing module in the navigation menu.

Select the Expected Outputs Tab:

Once in the Manufacturing module, locate and click on the Expected Outputs tab.

What’s Included in the Expected Outputs Tab?
The tab displays a table with the following key columns:
1. Estimated Completion

Shows the expected completion date of each output.

Pulls data from the Batch End Date field.

Displays "--" if no end date is available.

Filterable/Sortable: Filter by date, defaulting to today’s date.
2. Item

Lists the output items associated with unsubmitted runs only.

Includes outputs pre-filled from the Bill of Materials (BOM) with no package tag assigned yet.

Filterable/Sortable: Use to quickly identify specific items.
3. Item Type

Categorizes items by their type

Filterable/Sortable: Drill down by category.
4. Sub Type

Further categorizes items by their sub-type (e.g., specific product variations).

6. Batch Status (Feature Coming Soon)

Displays the name of the batch associated with the output.

Clickable: Clicking the batch name opens the batch details in a new tab.

8. Expected Quantity

Displays the current estimated quantity of output items from unsubmitted runs.

How to Filter and Sort the Data
The Expected Outputs tab offers advanced filtering and sorting options:

By Date:

Use the default filter to view outputs expected from today onwards.

Adjust the filter to focus on past or future dates as needed.

Filter by specific products or categories to narrow down your view.

How to Download the Data
The Expected Outputs tab includes a CSV download feature to simplify sharing and analysis:

Click the Download CSV button at the top-right corner of the table.

Select the destination folder on your device.
-
Open the file in your preferred spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) to further analyze the data.
FAQs
What data is included in the Expected Outputs tab?
The tab includes all estimated outputs from unsubmitted runs on batches/plans with any batch status except Archived or Not Approved. This also includes intermediary products and outputs pre-filled from the BOM.
Why do some rows show "--" under Estimated Completion?
This indicates that no Batch End Date has been assigned for those specific outputs.
Can I see outputs for batches with a status of Archived or Not Approved?
No, the tab excludes these statuses to keep the view focused on actionable data.
Can I edit data directly from the Expected Outputs tab?
No, the tab is designed for visibility and tracking only. To make changes, navigate to the associated batch or run.
