Canix users can easily create and manage Sales Price Lists in Facility Data and can assign them from a Sales Order or Customer profile. In this article we will be covering:

• Creating a New Sales Price List
• Assigning Sales Price Lists to Customers
• Pricing by Sub-Type or Item Type

Create a New Sales Price List

To create a new Sales Price List:

1. Navigate to Admin > Facility Data > Sales Price Lists
2. Select Actions > + Create Price List
3. Add a name for your Price List & optionally input a description & Select Save
4. Add Items to pre-fill item prices when creating a sales order by selecting Actions > + Add Item.
5. Select an existing Item to add to the Price List and Select Add
6. Input a Unit Price, Quantity, & Unit Type for each item added to the list
7. Select Save to save your Sales Price List.
8. Once you have created your Sales Price List, you may continue to manage it in Facility Data > Sales Price Lists.

Assigning Sales Price Lists

1. Once you have created a new sales price list and added all of your desired Items, you can assign current customers to the list by selecting + Add Customers                                                                                                                                   
2. Select Save to save your Sales Price List & assigned customers.

• Additionally you can assign a Sales Price List through Customers by:

1. Navigate to Sales > Customers > Current 
2. Select a customer, or multiple customers
3. Select Actions > + Assign Price List
4. Search for and select a Sales Price List & Select Assign

• You may also assign a Sale Price List from a Sales Order by:

1. Navigating to Sales > Sales Orders
2. Select or Create a new Sales Order
3. Scroll down to Sales Price List at the bottom of the Customer Information section on the left & select Select Price List.                                                          
4. Search for and select a Sales Price List and save by selecting Assign

Pricing by Sub-Type or Item Type

Sales Price Lists can now be configured using four pricing bases: Product, Item, Sub-Type, and Item Type. Only one pricing basis can be active per list.

To set up a Sub-Type or Item Type price list:

1. Navigate to Sales Price Lists and open or create a list.
2. Under the pricing basis toggles, select Sub-Type or Item Type. This will disable the other options.
3. Use the search bar to find and add Sub-Types or Item Types available in your Facility.
4. Enter a price for each row.

How pricing resolves on Sales Orders

When a price list is applied to a Sales Order, Canix uses the following priority:

1. If the specific Product or Item has a price defined on the list, that price is used first.
2. If not, pricing falls back to the list's Sub-Type or Item Type price.
3. If no match is found, your existing fallback pricing applies.

Quick-add from the Sub-Types table

From any Sub-Type's row in the Sub-Types table, use the Assign Sales Price List action to add it directly to a Sub-Type-based price list.
