Introduction
Canix has set up a Sales Order Agent that allows users to create sales orders and query inventory directly from their inventory, with our email.
Why?
Salespeople do not operate in Canix - nor should they! They are in email, texts, in-person. They need a way to create sales orders, on the fly. Their time should be spent selling, not spent entering sales orders.
A primary goal of this endeavor is to allow salespeople to create orders directly from their email, from:
- CSV Upload
- Plain-text
- Screenshots
We’ve heard that it’s slow to create a sales order in Canix → we hear you! Our goal is to leapfrog the UI and make it as fast as possible create a sales order in Canix.
Additionally, the sales agent allows salespeople to to query inventory directly from their email. Things move fast, and inventory changes quickly. Salespeople need a way to see their inventory, as fast as possible, directly in their workflow.
Canix has developed an alpha version of this sales order agent to provide this.
How It Works (Create Sales Orders)
- Email “sales.ai@canix.com” with a csv, plain-text notes, or screenshots of the sales order that you want to create
- You can even create multiple sales orders from one CSV to this email!
- The email will either respond with questions, a confirmation that it’s been created, or a failure notification
How It Works (Inventory Availability)
- Email “sales.ai@canix.com” with either a request to see all live inventory, or a request for the availability of a specific piece of inventory
- The agent will respond back over email with the Inventory available in Bloom’s account.

Overall
- The agent will take a few minutes to respond. It's not instantaneous - yet!
- This is an alpha, so some hiccups are expected. Email Stacey if you run into any issues.
- The email you will be emailing is sales.ai@canix.com.
Sales Orders
- Try to create a sales order with a csv doc! We’ve seen it have a lot of success
- If the agent has any issues, it will let you know what it needed to interpret.
- If an unauthorized user emails for either sales or inventory, this is the email it will receive:
Inventory Availability
- The biggest cause of slowness is the agent needing to compile a large list of inventory availability.
- To make the agent faster, mark the items that you’re selling as “Finished Goods." Instructions are how to do that are here. In your email, include that you are only looking for Finished Goods Availability.
