Introduction

The Canix <> LeafTrade Integration syncs your active inventory in Canix to your LeafTrade account.

At a high level, this integration pulls your active packages from Canix, and updates your LeafTrade inventory levels based on these active packages.

In this article, we will review how to set up the integration and what will pull from Canix to LeafTrade.

Importing Packages from Canix

First, you will navigate to Dashboard → Canix → Canix Import.

In this step, you will map your Strains, Products, Pre-Pack Variants, and Weight-Based Variants for import.

Mapping Strains

As the first step in setting up the integration, you will map Canix strains to your LeafTrade Phenotype.

If no strain is found, LeafTrade will create a new strain when importing inventory.

Mapping Products

In this section, you will map Canix Items to LeafTrade Products.

The Product Category should be mapped to existing categories in your LeafTrade account.

Mapping Pre-Pack Variants

Next, you’ll import “Pre-Pack” variants into your inventory. LeafTrade will import all active packages from the Canix API. You’ll see the specific tag number, quantity, and unit of measure populate on this screen.

The Product for each tag number will pre-fill here if there has been a previous import of the same item, or it was previously mapped on the “Product” page.

Batch Number will map to the “Production Batch” in Canix.

Mapping Weight-Based Variants

Last, you’ll import your Weight-based variants to your inventory. This step will be similar to your pre-pack variants, but will only take into account “weight-based” packages.

Review

In the last step, you’ll have the chance to review your mapped Strains, Products, Pre-Pack Variants, and Weight-Based Variants before importing.

After Importing

After Importing, you’ll see packages from your Canix account add to your inventory fields for the corresponding items on LeafTrade.

The available quantity to sell for your LeafTrade items will be updated with the imported packages.
