Creating a Batch (Mobile - Non-Metrc)

Each time a cultivator plants seeds or clones of the same strain, they are required to track the entire group of immature plants together (i.e. a Plant Batch). Each batch (usually less than 100 plants) is tagged with a single barcode to track it in the system, and that barcode is usually physically attached to the plant tray.

Pro-tips:

  • Make sure you have a Label/Tag printed and ready to assign to the batch (How to print labels)
  • Give your Batch a unique name when creating the Batch Tag.  We suggest using the Strain Name - Number of Plants - Batch Number when printing batch tag.  For example Blue Dream - 80 Plants - Batch 1
  • Make sure you have your strains & locations created (Add Strains, Items and Locations)

Steps: From the Mobile Application

  1. Select Plants > Quick Actions > Create Plantings
  2. Click the label scanner button and scan the Batch Tag (ex. 000000000006)
  3. Click Clone or Seed > select the correct one
  4. Click on Strain - select the correct strain from the dropdown list
  5. Click on Room - select the room where the batch is located
  6. Click on Number of Plantings - enter the number of clones or seeds for the batch.  This number must be between 1 and 100
  7. Click on Planted Date - select the Month, Day, Year > Select Confirm
  8. Click on the Create # Plantings in Canix

Next Step in the process will be to Change the Growth Phase to Vegetative
