In order to use Canix's Custom Labels feature with your label printer, you must ensure that your printer is compatible with ZPL printing mode. For the Toshiba B-SX5T printer, you can switch it to ZPL (or Z-Mode) by following the instructions below.

Switch to Z-Mode

1. First power cycle the printer to power off
2. Press and hold the Feed and Pause buttons while turning the machine back on

3. Once the printer is on, you should see a selection menu
   • Push the up arrow button and you will be in option 12 - "EMULATION MODE"
   • 
4. Press Enter button then the Down Arrow button until you get to the option "Z MODE ON"
   • 
5. Press Enter
6. Power cycle to off
7. Turn back on, and “Z MODE V1.3” should appear on your screen

Switch to Online Mode

1. Repeat steps 1-3 press the Up Arrow button to Off and press Enter
2. Power cycle to off

3. Power cycle on and “B-EX6T1-T ONLINE" should appear on your screen
