OHaus Ranger 3000 & Valor 7000 Set Up Instructions

Watch how to set up these scales in our video on connecting RFID wands and scales to the Canix mobile app (Scale setup runs from :40-4:02).

If you prefer written instructions, follow the steps below.

First set of Menu steps

  1. Long press Menu button - screen should show CAL. If it doesn't slide your legal for trade switch under the scale to off.

  2. Press Print 5 times to get to PRINT on the menu options

  3. Press On/Zero, the screen should show reset

  4. Press Print twice to get to A PRINT on the scale

  5. Press On/Zero

  6. You should see CONT on the scale

  7. Press On/Zero

  8. You should see a 1

  9. Press On/Zero

  10. You should see CONTNT on the scale

  11. Press Menu and the weight (0s) should show up again

Next set of Menu steps

  1. Long press Menu button - screen should show CAL. 

  2. Press Print 6 times until you see COM

  3. Press On/Zero, the screen should now show RESET

  4. Press Print and the scale should show BAUD

  5. Press On/Zero and should see 9600

  6. Press On/Zero and should see PARITY

  7. Press On/Zero and should see 8 None

  8. Press On/Zero and should see STOP

  9. Press On/Zero and should see 1

  10. Press On/Zero and should see HANDSH

  11. Press On/Zero and should see None

  12. Press On/Zero and should see alt.com

  13. Press On/Zero and should see PRINT

  14. Short Press Menu and should see the scale weight again

Final step

Turn your scale off and on again to ensure the settings are saved.
