Package Plants - Mobile

Use the Canix Mobile Application to Create Packages of Immatures or Vegetative Plants in your facility. 

This article reviews this process for both Metrc and Non-Metrc facilities, the verbiage may be different depending on the type of facility you are in.

In this article, we'll cover:

  2. View Packaged Plants

Package Plants

On the Mobile Application:

  1. Navigate to Packages > Quick Actions > Package Plants
  2. Select one of the following from Create Packages From:
    • Single Plant Batch: Scan and split a single batch
    • Multiple Plant Batches: Scan and package multiple batches 
    • Vegetative Plants: Filter plants by Room, Batch, or Strain
      Note: Some facilities may not have the option to package Vegetative Plants

Single Plant Batch 

  1. Complete all required fields:
    • Type or Scan the Batch Tag number
    • Starting Package Tag
    • Number of Packages 
    • Item Type
    • Optionally you can add a package Room/Location  
    • # of Plants per Package
    • Packaging Date
    • Optionally you can enter Notes for the Package (Notes are not synced with Metrc)
  2. To continue select, Review Packages
  3. Need to add a additional packages?
    • Select the red plus to add additional packages
  4. Need to remove a packages?
    • Select the trash can icon to remove a package
  5. If all information is correct, select Create # Packages in Canix/Metrc
  6. A confirmation window will appear, "Submit # Packages to Canix/Metrc?"
  7. Select Submit # Packages

Multiple Plant Batches 

  1. Add a Plant Batches by selecting the red plus sign
  2. Type or Scan the Batch Tag number
  3. Complete all required fields:
    • Plant Count 
    • Matching Package Item
  4. To continue select Add Plant Batch
    Need to add another Plant Batch?
    • Simply select the red plus to add additional Plant Batches 
  5. Once all Immatures have been added, select Scan Starting Package
    • Need to add another Plant Batch?
      • Simply select Add and Scan Another 
    • Need to remove a Plant Batch? 
      • Simply select trash can icon to remove a Plant Batch
  6. Scan or Type in the First Package Tag and enter a Packaging Date 
  7. Select Review # Packages 
    • Need to remove a packages?
      • Simply select the trash can icon to remove a package
  8. If all information is correct, select Create # Packages in Canix/Metrc
  9. A confirmation window will appear, "Submit # Packages to Canix/Metrc?"
  10. Select Submit # Packages

Vegetative Plants 

  1. Filter by Strain, Room or Batch
  2. Select all Vegetative Plants to be packaged
  3. To continue, select Enter Package Details (# of plants selected)
  4. Create Package:
    • New Package Tag
    • Item Type
    • Room
    • Packaging Date
    • Optionally you can enter Notes for the Package 
  5. Once all information is correct, select Create Package

View Packaged Plants

View these new Packages of Plants reflected in your Active Inventory.

On the Web Application, navigate to:

  • Inventory > Packages > View: Active

On the Mobile Application, navigate to:

  • Packages > Active Inventory: See More > Filter by Item
