How Do I Create My First Packages in Canix?
Package inventory can be created by uploading data, creating inventory manually, or through syncing inventory from state traceability systems, like Metrc or BioTrack.
Manually Create Initial Package Inventory
Used for small initial uploads into Canix’s standalone environments - not available in Metrc states. Packages can be individually created from an untracked source directly in Canix.
Upload Package Inventory in Bulk
Best for larger uploads into Canix’s standalone environments - not available in Metrc states. Use Canix’s .csv file uploader feature to load your initial plant and package inventory as well as your facility data (items, strains, and locations).
Sync inventory from Metrc
For Metrc states, after providing the correct Metrc API Key and license number to Canix - all of your plant, harvest, package inventory and facility data will sync into Canix. Package inventory will continue to sync from Metrc every 10 min.
Sync inventory from BioTrack
For BioTrack states, enter your BioTrack UBI and login information to begin syncing current plant, harvest, package inventory and facility data into Canix. All inventory will continue to sync from BioTrack every 10 min.
