Canix and Sweed integrate to bring a seamless POS solution to non-Metrc customers. Sweed pulls package information into their POS system through Canix’s API to keep inventory levels up to date. For Metrc customers, inventory in Sweed is updated through their Metrc integration and does not require any additional setup with Canix. Currently, no information is passed back to Canix as a result of a sale in Sweed.
💡 If you have multiple licenses in Canix that you wish to connect to Sweed, the Canix user that completes the connection must have access to all facilities being connection. Only 1 key is required.
Non-Metrc Customers: Connect your Sweed account with Canix
From the Canix Web Application:
- Generate an API key for a user with Full Permissions to everything in Canix
- Navigate to Admin > API
- Select Generate Key to copy a new API key - only 1 key needs to be generated even if connecting multiple Canix licenses from the same account to Sweed
- If a key needs to be removed for any reason, use the 3 dots to the left of the key and select Remove
- Provide the API key to Sweed to give them access to pull your inventory
